Hace un tiempo queria hacer unas pantuflas de fieltro y entonces fui a visitar esta semana el mercado de pulgas en dorrego en busqueda de hormas. Cuando llegue no podia creer que organizado y limpio estaba todo el lugar. era un martes y estaba muy tranquilo... no habia mucha gente dando vueltas asi que podia mirar tranqui. Pregunte en el primer puesto y una senora me dijo que tenia una canasta con algunas hormas... me conto que las hormas estan muy buscadas en este momento como hay mucha gente que las compran para pintarlas, tambien me conto que en muchos de los puestos habia hormas y solo tenia que ir y mirar para encontrar el estilo o numero que necesitaba....en el segundo puesto encontre un par que me encanto y las compre... mañana si no llueve saco foto para mostralas... For some time now i have wanted to make felted slippers and so this week i decided to check out the Flee market hoping to find some shoemakers lasts. I was pleasently surprised at the organisation of the market and how clean it was. I stopped at the first stand i came accross and asked someone where i might find wooden lasts. She pointed to a wicker basket full and told me they were very popular right now and in demand as people were buying them to paint them. I rummaged through the basket and then decided to continue walking around and checking out other stalls. At the next stall i found some lasts that looked a bit more interesting than the others and so decided to buy them even though they were not my size!!! I loved the shape.... foto to come. I took a few pictures of the market but they didnt come out that good so i have borrowed some pictures from Marcela, of Vintage Decoration ... you can check out her blog here:
