
For some time now i have wanted to make felted slippers and so this week i decided to check out the Flee market hoping to find some shoemakers lasts. I was pleasently surprised at the organisation of the market and how clean it was. I stopped at the first stand i came accross and asked someone where i might find wooden lasts. She pointed to a wicker basket full and told me they were very popular right now and in demand as people were buying them to paint them. I rummaged through the basket and then decided to continue walking around and checking out other stalls. At the next stall i found some lasts that looked a bit more interesting than the others and so decided to buy them even though they were not my size!!! I loved the shape.... foto to come.
